Roles & Functions :
- (1) Annual Report: As per the provision of Section 136 (1) of the Maharashtra Public University Act 2016, the University annual report is prepared every year for the purpose, meetings of the committees are held from time to time; reports are prepared in Marathi and English language (in book form). Approval of Management Council through Board of Deans is taken and after approval by the Senate, the report is presented to the Hon’ble Chancellor, the State Government and both the Houses of the Legislative Assembly. This section is responsible to carry out these responsibilities.
- (2) DHEMIS (Directorate of Higher Education-Management Information System): This section is responsible to provide information of administrative, academic and non-academic matters of the University and all affiliated colleges every year on the Information and Management System (DHEMIS) web portal run at the state level.
- (3) AISHE (All India Survey in Higher Education): As suggested by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, New Delhi, this section uploads consolidated information of received from the University schools, departments and all affiliated colleges every year on aishe.nic.in portal for All India Higher Education Survey in the DCF-I, DCF-II and TIF formats.
As mentioned above, administrative work is done under this section as follows so that quick and accurate information is given to the Government from time to time.
