About School

               The School of Chemical Sciences has been in existence since 1984, then as a part of the Centre for Postgraduate Studies of Shivaji University, Kolhapur and Since then has grown into one of the prominent Schools of PAH Solapur University. The School offers M. Sc. Course in Polymer Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Medicinal Chemistry. School offeres Ph.D. Course in various desciplines like Polymer Sciences, Medicinal Chemistry, Materials Chemistry, Drug Design and Synthesis, Controlled and targeted drug delivery, etc. The faculties of the School have succesfully completed several research projects sponsered by DST, BRNS, UGC, ISRO. A good number of the students from the school are occupying important positions in industry and academia; several have persued doctoral, postdoctoral studies abroad.
